Do you ever notice how often people try to control one another, control life situations, so many humans attempting to control external situations? So many humans living in a constant state of dis-ease and tension. So many insecure frightened humans doing their best to hold it all together. But what exactly are we attempting to hold together? The very act of “trying” to hold things together is suffering, it’s resistance and tension.
This pattern of “trying” to hold it together can really take us over if we’re not aware and present, for the next thing we’ll know is only stress and dis-ease. The very act of holding it together is coming from a fear of the unknown, a fear of uncertainty.

When we take a deep breath and we are honest with ourselves, we see clearly that WE are Not in charge of the Bigger picture, nor should we be. We don’t have to know all the answers, we don’t need to know a 5-year plan. Because in truth, no one truly knows what will happen a moment from now. We can have our healthy goals and dreams, that’s all good. However, getting comfortable with Uncertainty is wisdom in action.

The more humans learn to relax and flow with life’s current, the more we shall understand that we don’t need to control the current. We simply need to feel for it, and allow life’s current to lift us, guide us and support us. One surrendered moment of trust at a time.
Everything can shift in a life in a moment, beautiful Miracles can flow in instantaneously. As well as life’s challenges can suddenly flow-in a moment later. What we can practice is living in a state of awareness and surrender. We can stay present to the emotions that are flowing within us, we can choose the thoughts we are going to think next, we can choose our next movement. These are things we are in charge of moment by sacred moment. However, we are never in charge of others outside of ourselves, we are never in charge of how others feel, or what actions they will choose next. We are not in control of anything outside of ourselves in truth.

Dis-ease and tension, stress and anxiety only occur when we are projecting a sense of control outside of ourselves. We instantly are met with tension and resistance when we attempt to control life. However, we can learn the art of living in a state of surrendered trust, we can choose to flow with life’s current in Love, Trust and Peace. How do we do this? By getting comfortable with Uncertainty.

Today as you move and flow through your day take time to be present with your actions. Be present with your thoughts, really listen when another human is speaking to you. Consciously practice taking deep centering breaths, especially when you find yourself wanting to get away from this Now moment. Observe your thoughts, your anxiousness just bring presence to each moment. This will immediately create more spaciousness and ease in all you do.
Be comfortable not knowing the answer, not knowing when exactly you’ll be home. Get comfortable not promising people things you’re really not sure you can promise. Practice being here Now, practice expressing that you will do your best, that you will see how things flow. Get comfortable with Uncertainty, comfortable with living without a rigid program of any kind. Observe how you feel in this new space. Do you feel more freedom? Peace? Spaciousness? Just notice and observe this new way of being, flowing and living.

Today just go with the flow!
