Day 163 of 365 Days of Mindfulness Mastery

Last night, my Beloved William and I went to see the film “First Man.” What a wonderful film and what an incredible life for those astronauts. I loved how this film is shown from the perspective of the astronauts; so intense and emotional.

One thing I’ve observed so many times in films from this time in history is that humans were so ego-focused. So much concern about which country got to space first, which man stepped onto the moon first. So much egoic competition and distorted view of separation.

What if instead of viewing each other from an “us” against “them” perspective we chose to see clearly. What if we saw every task, challenge, and goal as a call for our United human action? Instead of Russia against America, what if we joined our intelligence and strengths with a common focus….Rather than focusing upon race, gender, and personal beliefs as a method for separation?

What if we instead viewed ourselves as united, spiritual beings/human beings moving towards a common goal. No more wasted time fighting the “other,” it’s time to see that we are One. Let’s drop the compartmentalized clubs–no more Republicans or Democrats, no more wealthy and entitled, or poor and impoverished; drop them, drop all of them. I tell you it is all an illusion, an illusion that can only continue to appear within our distortion.

I can tell you this, when we all choose to wake up and open our eyes to the Divine Truth, it will be a total game changer. We are One; we are Spiritual Beings experiencing life as human beings sharing this One Planet. What will we choose, humans? Continued Distortion, Separation and Struggle? Or are we ready to drop the Illusion, wake up and Co-create Beauty and Miracles as One?

I know that united, we humans are capable of so much good. And the only way we can show that genius is if we choose to drop the illusion of our separation. There is so much beauty that we have yet to tap into humanity.
