The Need for Approval

Greetings beautiful evolving souls recently I saw a post on Face Book about humans need for approval and interestingly this came in at a divine aligned time. I was just feeling inspired to speak on this very topic after receiving guidance during a yoga session. Humans have a need to be accepted and nurtured. This is at the core of our emotional and spiritual health. However the need to fit in or have other’s approve of us can cause us a lot of unnecessary suffering and distract us from our authentic path. Many of us grew up in families and misaligned systems teaching us to do whatever it takes to fit in and gain the approval of the group. This conditioning to be accepted runs deep within us as a human race and can often times lead humans to do some crazy shit.  It is the very betraying of self that has caused great suffering and misalignment across this beautiful planet we all call home.

The very essence of evolution is dependent on courageous souls that honor their own direction no matter what others say or think of them. I have lived this personally and know the courage it takes to be true to self, especially within family systems, that if we are honest have often been built upon misaligned belief systems for generations. Nothing can shift, evolve or change if we all remain silent, ignorant and tolerate misalignment and abuse. In order to evolve it takes great courage simple as that. Often humans will ignore their own inner wisdom to change or challenge something because they are choosing their choices from a fear of being alone and a fear of change. A fear of being rejected or shunned from the group can often take a hold over very intelligent humans. Truth is we are never alone, as an intuitive healer that communicates with loved ones who have left their physical form, communicating with Angelic Beings and Ascended Masters…Let’s just shed the false belief that we are ever alone….because it’s just not true! This false belief that we are alone and therefore can be harmed if others don’t accept us is what MUST Shift for this planet of humans to evolve in healthy, loving and aligned directions.

When we make our choices from fear we know it. It doesn’t matter how many we try to externally convince…we know it within ourselves. The more we ignore this inner desire for truth, health and alignment, the more we shall suffer. Yet I have learned firsthand that there is another way, there is a higher choice. A choice that no one can choose for us for only we can claim this alignment. When we honor our own inner wisdom and listen to the guidance we thrive and we know we are One with Source. Suddenly fitting in and belonging to misaligned humans isn’t so appealing, because we understand the only true space for our joy to flow is when we are aligned and One with Source. We understand that the very evolution our souls desire is dependent upon this alignment and honoring of truth. We stop protecting misalignment and enabling the shadow energies, we stop projecting upon others and we Step into the vortex of alignment within accepting full responsibility over our own energy and choices. We chose this for the Love of Self, and not for the approval of anyone externally. Once we get this, Everything shifts for us in all areas of our lives in amazing and often miraculous ways.

We must dare to be courageous and speak up about what we feel, what we see, what we know and do so without apology. Face it, there will be humans that LOVE you for being so courageous and truthful, for you will inspire them to also live authentically. There will be humans that despise you for speaking such truth, Speak it anyway! We are here to assist each other in evolving with greater Love, honor, connection and truth. This can only happen with your active participation and awareness. If you are living with an abusive partner and your stuffing down your feelings daily, You will suffer! If you are a teacher working in a misaligned educational system and you hate it and you gossip about it, yet you do and say nothing to create shifts…You will suffer! If you are a healer, nurse, Doctor and you cater to misaligned humans all day and you hold in your intuition and truth and swallow back the anger of the misaligned system, you guessed it You will suffer! If you are a child and you keep putting up with negativity and abuse and bullying daily and you say and do nothing, You shall suffer! If you are a human that bullies others no matter your title and you continue to lash out, continue to hit and shame and ignore your moments of soul awareness, you shall suffer and continue to breed hate and misalignment upon others causing more unnecessary suffering.

So how does one begin? How does one step away from misalignment, step away from being apart of the misaligned system to becoming a participant in the restructuring of an aligned and Loving system? It happens in a moment of truth, a moment of awareness a moment of authenticity. I know each of you reading this have the power and ability to stand in your own power authentically. Each of you have the wisdom to feel right now if something is off and out of alignment in your lives, be honest with yourself right now and FEEL it. Each of you have the capability to shift things in your lil space of the world, beginning by shifting your own inner self into alignment. Until each of us accepts responsibility for our own sickness and habit of betraying ourself for the approval of others. We shall continue to suffer and breed more suffering in others. Now ask yourself why? Why would you continue to choose from fear? Why would you continue to move forward another day with ignorance and shame and insecurity? Truth is you would only do that because your identifying and aligning  with fear. The aligned systems we are being guided and called to co create must unfold from a space of truth and Love simple as that. Where we are evolving to there is no room for fear any longer, no room for lies, even lil white ones, no room for insecurity, shame, guilt or hate, we are evolving and we know where we’ve been and it’s been dark and slimy. The Angels say Now is a powerful and perfect Divine time to Shine our light! A time to speak, a time to heal, a time to Rise, a time to listen to intuition and trust it, a time to be courageous warriors of light blazing a new path with our alignment, wisdom, truth and Love.

The past is over, and yes it sometimes really sucked! Get over it and step forward with your eyes Wide open, your heart Wide open, your intuition fully aligned and centered, your free flowing infinite and powerful soul flowing without attachment or aversions to what anyone thinks about you. I can share a lil secret with you; Everything others say about you is truly about them, not you. Humans are very fickle creatures loving you one moment when your behaving as they say you should, and then lashing out a moment later when your being true to you. Get over needing to belong, get over needing to fit it, get over what they all think about you. This egoic way is not serving you, Awaken and Rise!

This week I offer you a fun exercise, stay aware, awake and mindful of why you choose to do the things you do. Really pay attention to why you’re choosing to wear that particular outfit? Why you’re going to that meeting or gathering? Why you’re speaking or not speaking on important topics? Why your’e going in the direction your’e going in at this time? Is if authentic? Is it from Love? Or is it from fear, or a need to be accepted or noticed or seen? All of these moments of truthful awareness hold great power for you, the courageous warriors of Light!
