Power of Vibrational Alignment
This morning, I enjoyed leading a beautiful, relaxing restorative Yoga Meditation class in my local community. The highlight of this class was when one of my sweet students came up to me and said, “Tawnya, you gave me the most important Christmas gift of all this year.” I was pleasantly touched by this awareness. She went on to explain the great amount of pain she had been in for so very long- so long that pain had become her “normal feeling.” This particular student has been attending my Restorative Yoga Meditation, as well as my Pilates Yoga Fusion classes for a couple of months now. She had begun to notice subtle shifts happening in her body. She then told me that on Christmas morning, while standing in her kitchen, she suddenly realized: WOW, no more pain?! She wasn’t feeling pain any longer; her hips felt good and strong.
I was so delighted to hear this, to be a witness to her body’s re-alignment with wholeness. It touched my heart so deeply. I explained to her that, partly, this shift was from the physical practices she was offering her body as she honored and strengthened herself back into health and wholeness. The Yoga and Pilates offered her ease and relaxation; these exercises offered joint health through lubrication and physical movement. I also reminded her of the power of presence and listening, of Being, and helped reprogram her consciousness into a state of wholeness and wellness once again; her natural state.
Every day, spirit speaks through me with powerful words of truth and wisdom, reminding us of the power of our vibrational alignment with our Source. It can happen, a slow and gradual change as we focus our thoughts upon wholeness, and suddenly, we are back in our optimal alignment.
The same journey occurs in regards to the manifestation of sickness or dis-ease. It is a gradual lean into a lower vibration- we lean into tension, worry, stress and feelings of dis-ease and the next thing we know, BAM: “How’d I get so sick?” “How’d I get so angry?” “How’d I get so broke?” Through a consistent focus upon sickness, tension, fear, worry, and anger, and voila: we create disease, pain and suffering. The good part is that suffering is optional. It truly is a choice.
It’s all vibrational. You are primarily vibrational, a vibrational being experiencing life in your human meat suit. We have the power and choice to enjoy our journey while we are here on this Earth, as well as the power to choose suffering. Everything is ignited via your chosen vibration and focal point, through your chosen thoughts and your chosen emotions. Take a moment and think about it: who chooses your thoughts? You do. Who chooses which emotions you dwell on or get stuck in, or identify yourself with? You do. Not your mom, your brother, or your neighbor…no one else chooses this except you. This is POWERFUL my friends! You and you alone hold your power, so this is exciting shape shifting.
Life-changing awareness you’re onto here. Congratulations!
Take a moment to close your eyes. Unless you’re driving. If you’re driving then pull the heck over and sit…why are you reading this while you’re driving?! I know, I Know, I have some great stuff here. But pull it over and chillax a minute. All joking aside, close your eyes and take a deep, centering breath. Take a moment to connect with your human meat suit of a body. Notice what’s going on within your day; notice your energy. Do you feel tense? Anxious? Just observe, without any judgment. Your simple task is to observe and be One with your body for a just a few moments, without distraction. Observe your thoughts. Are they racing? Bouncing all over the place? Or are your thoughts clear, calm, and centered?
Now on your next inhale, hold the thought and feeling of “I AM Peaceful.” As you exhale, hold the thought and feeling of “I AM Present.” Continue to hold onto this one simple thought and feeling as you breathe in…I AM Peaceful…and as you breathe out…I AM Present. Notice how your body begins to relax; how tension begins to fall away. Notice that this is a powerful practice, as you are allowing and guiding your body, mind and emotions back into the highest optimal alignment with the Source.
Now, doesn’t that just FEEL better? I Know- You’re so smart and Awesome! Now open your eyes, and go enjoy this day as you practice Being Peaceful and Present.
